Agni as the sustaining and protecting sacrificial fire who grants prosperity and defends the rite
शुक्रं ते अन्यद्यजतं ते अन्यद्विषुरूपे अहनी द्यौरिवासि विश्वा हि माया अवसि स्वधावन्भद्रा ते पूषन्निह रातिरस्तु

Luminosa é uma de tuas formas, outra é amável e digna de adoração; de dupla figura és tu, de aspecto diverso, como o céu no dia e na noite. Pois com todas as tuas māyā tu proteges, ó possuidor da svadhā; que aqui esteja, ó Pūṣan, tua dádiva auspiciosa — teu dom.
