O magnânimo filho de Daśaratha louvou o feito de Lakṣmaṇa, tão difícil de realizar. E o rei dos Vānaras, ao ouvir que Śakrajit (Indrajit) fora derrubado, encheu-se de alegria.
As soon as Lakshmana said that Indrajith was killed, Rama was very glad and immediately spoke as follows.
Dharma includes honoring merit and truthful accomplishment: Rāma publicly recognizes Lakṣmaṇa’s hard-won service, reinforcing a culture where righteous effort is acknowledged.
After Indrajit’s fall, Rāma praises Lakṣmaṇa’s formidable achievement, and Sugrīva is joyful upon hearing the enemy champion is defeated.
Gratitude and just leadership—Rāma’s readiness to commend difficult service; allied morale grounded in righteous success.
