Tendo-te, ó Lakṣmaṇa, por meu protetor, e estando abatido em batalha aquele que vencera Indra, não me será difícil reconquistar nem Sītā nem o meu reino, esta terra.
Lakshmana, with you as my protector and Indra's enemy killed, neither Sita nor earth will be difficult to get back.
Dharma underscores reliance on righteous support and truthful confidence: victory is envisioned as restoration of justice (Sītā and rightful rule), not mere conquest.
After Indrajit’s death, Rāma reassures Lakṣmaṇa that their goal—recovering Sītā and re-establishing rightful sovereignty—is now within reach.
Brotherly devotion and protective duty: Lakṣmaṇa’s steadfast guardianship becomes a pillar of Rāma’s confidence.
