Ó de mente perversa, corruptor do dharma! Em ti não há respeito pelo parentesco, nem afeição, nem lealdade à tua linhagem; não reconheces medida justa, nem laço fraterno, nem retidão alguma.
"Evil minded Vibheeshana! You are vitiating righteousness, have no value to your race, no affection to your clan, no brotherly feeling and have no righteousness."
The verse shows how moral language can be weaponized: Indrajit accuses Vibhīṣaṇa of being anti-dharmic, even though Vibhīṣaṇa’s defection is motivated by commitment to true dharma and satya over unjust family allegiance.
Indrajit intensifies his condemnation, charging Vibhīṣaṇa with betrayal of kinship and righteousness.
Implicitly, Vibhīṣaṇa’s integrity—because the accusation invites the audience to evaluate what dharma truly is beyond clan identity.
