यदिसत्स्यात्सतांमुख्यनासत्स्यत्तवकिञ्चन ।त्वयायदीदृशंप्राप्तंतस्मात्सन्नोपपद्यते ।।6.83.25।।
yadi sat syāt satāṃ mukhya nāsat syāt tava kiñcana | tvayā yad īdṛśaṃ prāptaṃ tasmāt san nopapadyate ||6.83.25||
Se o bem realmente governasse os resultados, ó o mais eminente entre os bons, nem o menor mal deveria ter-te alcançado. Já que padeceste tal sofrimento, parece que ‘o bem’ não se confirma sempre como lei dos frutos.
"O foremost among the victorious! To you, who are a jewel no evil should accrue. Since such difficulty has been faced by you, the fact that good actions result in good destiny is not true."
It interrogates the assumed link between virtue (sat/dharma) and favorable outcomes, suggesting that lived experience can appear to contradict moral causality.
