Sarga 76: Angada and the Vanara chiefs battle Kampana, Prajaṅgha, Yūpākṣa, Śoṇitākṣa; Kumbha enters and is checked by Sugrīva
Struck in the chest by Sugriva's fist, Kumbha fell down and shone like the Sun god over powered by Rudra।।
The verse reinforces the epic’s moral hierarchy: even the seemingly ‘solar’ grandeur of a violent power dims when confronted by a higher, righteous force.
Kumbha’s broken body is described poetically as he falls after the crushing blow.
Sugrīva’s overpowering might in service of the righteous side.
