युद्धे अङ्गद-मैन्द-द्विविद-राक्षसयुद्धम्; कुम्भस्य प्रादुर्भावः तथा सुग्रीवेण पराभवः
Sarga 76: Angada and the Vanara chiefs battle Kampana, Prajaṅgha, Yūpākṣa, Śoṇitākṣa; Kumbha enters and is checked by Sugrīva
तौशोणिताक्ष्यूपाक्षौप्लवङ्गाभ्यांतरस्विनौ ।चक्रतुस्समरेतीव्रमाकर्षोत्पाटनंभृशम् ।।।।
tau śoṇitākṣa-yūpākṣau plavaṅgābhyāṃ tarasvinau | cakratuḥ samare tīvram ākarṣotpāṭanaṃ bhṛśam ||
Então Śoṇitākṣa e Yūpākṣa —ambos ferozes e impetuosos— travaram no combate uma luta brutal com os dois guerreiros vānara, arrastando-se e torcendo-se violentamente.
