Então Aṅgada cravou a espada na larga placa do ombro do inimigo; e aquele elefante entre os macacos o cortou, como se seguisse a linha do cordão sagrado.
Then Angada pierced his sword on the fl at surface of his shoulder diagonally and cut him with his sword.
Within the frame of righteous war, it presents disciplined, direct engagement—skill employed decisively rather than cruelty for its own sake.
Aṅgada lands a powerful, precise sword-blow in his fight, described with a vivid simile (like the line of a sacred thread).
Kauśala (martial proficiency) joined to courage: Aṅgada’s strike is both forceful and expertly placed.
