The Slaying of Atikāya
अथातिकायःकुपितोदृष्टवालक्ष्मणमुत्थितम् ।आदायनिशितंबाणमिदंवचनमब्रवीत् ।।।।
athātikāyaḥ kupito dṛṣṭvā lakṣmaṇam utthitam | ādāya niśitaṃ bāṇam idaṃ vacanam abravīt ||
Então Atikāya, enfurecido ao ver Lakṣmaṇa erguer-se para enfrentá-lo, tomou uma flecha afiada e disse estas palavras.
Seeing Atikaya, furious Lakshmana sprang up and took a sharp shaft and spoke as follows.
