A ele nasceu um filho valente, igual a Rāvaṇa na batalha: servidor dos anciãos, guardador do que ouvira e o mais eminente entre os conhecedores de todas as armas.
"To him was born a blessed son, valiant one, compeer of Ravana, who served elders, learned and well versed in sastras."
Learning, service to elders, and mastery of skills are praised, but the epic’s Dharma teaching implies these virtues must be aligned with righteous ends.
Vibhishana describes Ravana’s son as brave, disciplined in learning, and highly trained in weaponry.
Respect for elders (vṛddha-sevā) and learning (śruta-dhāraṇā), alongside martial competence.
