Então aquele inimigo de Indra, enfurecido na batalha, abateu Śarabha com um soco, golpeou Nīla com o joelho, feriu Gavākṣa com uma palmada, e com um rápido pontapé investiu contra Gandhamādana.
Angry Kumbhakarna (enemy of Indra) hit Sarabha with his fist, Neela with his knees hurt Gavaksha and slapped him with his palms. Gandhamadana was kicked with force.
The verse warns about krodha (anger) as a driver of violence; Dharma upholds restraint and right intention, even when force must be used.
Kumbhakarṇa counterattacks multiple Vānara champions in rapid succession, injuring them with different blows.
The Vānara virtue is persistence under harm; the opposing trait shown is Kumbhakarṇa’s uncontrolled wrath amplifying destructive power.
