Transliteration

taṃ vajrajāmbhūnadacārupuṅkhaṃ pradīptasūryajvalanaprakāśam |

mahendravajrāśanitulyavegaṃ rāmaḥ pracikṣepa niśācarāya ||

Translation

Rāma arremessou contra o demônio que vagueia na noite uma flecha de haste formosa, revestida de ouro e engastada de diamantes, ardendo com o fulgor do sol e do fogo, veloz como o raio de Mahendra.
