Transliteration

rāja-śeṣākṛtā laṅkā kṣīṇaḥ kośo balaṃ hatam |

rājānam imam āsādya suhṛc-cihnam amitrakam ||

Translation

Laṅkā foi reduzida ao que resta de um reino; o tesouro se esgotou e o exército foi destruído, porque inimigos com sinais de amizade cercaram e influenciaram este rei.
