Kumbhakarna’s Departure for Battle
शङ्खदुन्दुभिनिर्घोषैस्सैन्यैश्चापिवरायुथैः ।तंगजैश्चतुरङ्गैश्चस्यन्दनैश्चाम्बुदस्वनैः ।।।।अनुजग्मुर्महात्मानं रथिनो रथिनां वरम् ।
śaṅkha-dundubhi-nirghoṣaiḥ sainyaiś cāpi varāyudhaiḥ |
taṃ gajaiś caturaṅgaiś ca syandanaiś cāmbuda-svanaiḥ ||6.65.34||

Em meio ao brado de conchas e tambores, e com tropas de excelentes armas—com elefantes, cavalos e carros que ribombavam como nuvens de trovão—os guerreiros de carro seguiram aquele herói de grande alma, o melhor entre os aurigas.
Many great warriors seated on the best of chariots, with best of weapons amidst noise of conchs and drums, elephants, horses also and thunder like chariot warriors, started to proceed.
It highlights the organized, collective nature of warfare—where individual force is embedded in social structures (armies, signals, ranks), reminding that actions carry communal consequences.
Kumbhakarṇa advances, and the rākṣasa forces follow with full martial pageantry and equipment.
