कुम्भकर्णस्य प्रबोधनम्
The Awakening and Commissioning of Kumbhakarna
त्वय्यस्तिममस्नेहःपरासम्भावना च मे ।दैवासुरेषुयुद्धेषुबहुशोराक्षसर्षभ ।।6.62.21।।त्वयादेवाःप्रतिव्यूह्यनिर्जिताश्चासुरायुधि ।
tvayy asti mama snehaḥ parā-sambhāvanā ca me |
daivāsureṣu yuddheṣu bahuśo rākṣasarṣabha ||6.62.21||
tvayā devāḥ prativyūhya nirjitāś cāsurāyudhi |
Em ti tenho afeição e por ti nutro a mais alta estima, ó touro entre os Rākṣasas. Muitas vezes, nas guerras entre Devas e Asuras, enfrentaste-os em formação de combate e triunfaste: sobre os Devas e também sobre os Asuras em sua própria peleja.
