शरबन्धनम् (The Binding by Arrows) / Indrajit’s Illusory Assault and the Vanaras’ Consolation
अथवारक्ष्यतांरामोयावत्संज्ञाविपर्ययः ।।6.46.39।।लब्धसंज्ञौहिकाकुत्स्थौभयंनौव्यपनेष्यतः ।
athavā rakṣyatāṃ rāmo yāvat saṃjñā-viparyayaḥ | labdha-saṃjñau hi kākutsthau bhayaṃ nau vyapaneṣyataḥ ||
Ou então, que Rāma seja guardado até que passe esta perda de consciência; pois, quando os dois príncipes de Kakutstha recobrarem os sentidos, dissiparão o nosso temor.
"Or else till they become conscious, protect the Kakuthsa princes. When they become conscious, they can get rid of our fear."
Dharma is expressed as protective responsibility: even in crisis, one must safeguard the righteous leader and maintain hope grounded in truth and past virtue.
Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa appear unconscious on the battlefield; Vibhīṣaṇa advises guarding them until they recover, assuring the army that fear will then subside.
Prudence and steadfast guardianship—acting calmly to protect those who embody dharma.
