आप्लवन्तःप्लवन्तश्चगर्जन्तश्चप्लवङ्गमाः ।लङ्कांतामभिधावन्तिमहावारणसंनिभाः ।।।।

Transliteration

āplavantaḥ plavantaś ca garjantaś ca plavaṅgamāḥ |

laṅkāṃ tām abhidhāvanti mahāvāraṇasaṃnibhāḥ ||

Translation

Saltando e pulando, rugindo enquanto corriam, os guerreiros plavaṅgamas avançaram sobre Laṅkā, imponentes em massa como grandes elefantes.
