Transliteration

sabale sāgaraṃ tīrṇe rāme daśarathātmaje | amātyau rāvaṇaḥ śrīmān abravīc chuka-sāraṇau ||

Translation

Quando Rāma, filho de Daśaratha, atravessou o oceano com o seu exército, o esplêndido Rāvaṇa dirigiu-se a seus dois ministros, Śuka e Sāraṇa.
