Transliteration

vānarāṇāṃ hi sā tīrṇā vāhinī nala-setunā |

tīre niviviśe rājñā bahu-mūla-phalodake ||

Translation

Aquela hoste de vānara, tendo atravessado pela ponte de Nala, estabeleceu-se na outra margem—rica em raízes, frutos e água—por ordem do rei.
