सागरप्रशमनम् / The Pacification of the Ocean and the Building of Nala’s Bridge
आप्लवन्तःप्लवन्तश्चगर्जन्तश्चप्लवङ्गमाः ।।।।तदच्नित्यमसह्यंचह्यद्भुतंरोमहर्षणम् ।ददृशुस्सर्वभूतानिसागरेसेतुबन्धनम् ।।622.76।।
āplavantaḥ plavantaś ca garjantaś ca plavaṅgamāḥ | tad acintyam asahyaṃ ca hy adbhutaṃ romaharṣaṇam | dadṛśuḥ sarvabhūtāni sāgare setubandhanam ||
Os guerreiros vânaras saltavam e pulavam, rugindo de alegria; e todos os seres contemplaram a construção da ponte no mar—empreitada inconcebível, como que impossível, maravilhosa e arrebatadora, que fazia arrepiar pela sua grandeza.
The monkeys were jumping about here and there roaring (in joy). All creatures witnessed the bridge that was inconceivable, marvellous, thrilling, and impossible to build constructed in the sea.
