सागरप्रशमनम् / The Pacification of the Ocean and the Building of Nala’s Bridge
पुष्पिताग्रैश्चतरुभिस्सेतुंबध्नन्तिवानराः ।पाषाणांश्चगिरिप्रख्यागनिरीणांशिखराणिच ।।।।दृश्यन्तेपरिधावन्तोगृह्यदानवसन्निभाः ।
puṣpitāgraiś ca tarubhiḥ setuṃ badhnanti vānarāḥ | pāṣāṇāṃś ca giriprakhyān girīṇāṃ śikharāṇi ca | dṛśyante paridhāvanto gṛhya dānavasannibhāḥ ||
Os vānaras amarravam a ponte com árvores de copas floridas; e, semelhantes aos dānavas em vigor, eram vistos correndo de um lado a outro, apanhando rochedos como montanhas e até os próprios picos das colinas.
The Vanaras who were like Danavas, huge mountains in size were seen seizing boulders from the mountain, the trees with blossoms, and creepers for binding the bridge and running.
