सागरप्रशमनम् / The Pacification of the Ocean and the Building of Nala’s Bridge
विधास्येराम: येनापिविषहिष्येह्यहंतथा ।नग्राहाप्रहरिष्यन्तियावत्सेनातरिष्यति ।।।।हरीणांतरणेरामकरिष्यामियथास्थलम् ।
vidhāsye rāma yenāpi viṣahiṣye hy ahaṃ tathā | na grāhāḥ prahariṣyanti yāvat senā tariṣyati || harīṇāṃ taraṇe rāma kariṣyāmi yathā sthalam ||
Ó Rāma, darei um jeito: refrearei essas criaturas nocivas, para que os crocodilos não ataquem enquanto teu exército atravessa. Para a passagem dos vānaras, farei como se houvesse chão firme.
"O Rama! I shall arrange a base in such a mode, by means of which the entire army of Vanaras can cross over the passage and I will also be seizing the poisonous animals and not be aggressive."
