Agni’s Testimony and Sītā’s Revalidation
प्रलोभ्यमानाविविधंभर्त्स्यमाना च मैथिली ।नाचिन्तयततद्रक्षस्त्वद्गतेनान्तरात्मना ।।।।
pralobhyamānā vividhaṁ bhartsya mānā ca maithilī |
nācin tayat tad rakṣas tvadgatena antarātmanā ||
Ainda que fosse seduzida de muitos modos e também ameaçada, Maithilī—com o íntimo voltado para ti—não deu sua mente, de modo algum, àquele rākṣasa.
