"You are spoken of as the creator of Indra, Mahendra himself, Padmanabha, who puts an end to combat. You are a wonderful great sage and refuge of seekers."
Dharma culminates in protection and refuge: the righteous ruler is ‘śaraṇya’—fit to shelter the vulnerable—and aims to end conflict, not perpetuate it.
As the war reaches its decisive stage, the seers frame Rāma’s mission as ending adharma-driven violence and providing sanctuary through just order.
Śaraṇāgatavatsalatā (protective grace toward those seeking refuge) and conflict-ending wisdom.
