न हिपश्यामिसदृशंचिन्तयन्तीप्लवङ्गमा ।।6.116.18।।मप्रतियाब्यानकस्येहदातुंप्रत्यभिनन्दनम् ।

Transliteration

na hi paśyāmi sadṛśaṃ cintayantī plavaṅgama | mama pratyābhyānakasyeha dātuṃ pratyabhinandanam ||

Translation

Ó macaco, embora eu reflita, não vejo aqui nenhum presente digno para oferecer em troca como sinal de gratidão por tuas alegres notícias.
