Lament of the Rākṣasa Women upon Seeing Rāvaṇa Slain
ब्रुवाणोऽपिहितंवाक्यमिष्टोभ्राताविभीषणः ।।।।धृष्टंपरुषितोमोहत्त्वयात्मवथकाङ्क्षिणा ।
bruvāṇo 'pi hitaṃ vākyam iṣṭo bhrātā vibhīṣaṇaḥ |
dhṛṣṭaṃ paruṣito mohāt tvayātmavadhakāṅkṣiṇā ||6.113.19||
Mesmo quando teu amado irmão Vibhīṣaṇa proferiu palavras para o teu bem, tu—cego pela ilusão e inclinado à tua própria destruição—respondeste-lhe com aspereza e desprezo.
"Even though good advice was given by your dear brother Vibheeshana, in your delusion evidently you sought your own destruction."
