सुन्दरकाण्डे अष्टपञ्चाशः सर्गः
हनुमद्वृत्तान्तकथनम्, सीताभिज्ञान-प्रदानम्, लङ्कादाह-वर्णनम्
ततस्तास्सहितास्सर्वा निहताशा निरुद्यमाः।।।।परिक्षिप्य समन्तात्तां निद्रावशमुपागताः।
tatas tāḥ sahitāḥ sarvā nihatāśā nirudyamāḥ | parikṣipya samantāt tāṃ nidrāvaśam upāgatāḥ ||
Então todas elas, juntas—com as esperanças desfeitas e o esforço abandonado—espalharam-se ao redor dela por todos os lados e caíram sob o domínio do sono.
