Aquele rei dos abutres chamava-se Sampati, irmão de sangue do rei dos abutres; ao ouvir a morte do irmão, falou estas palavras, tomado de ira.
'O best of vanaras! by whom was my younger brother killed? Where was he dropped down? I wish you to tell me all about that.
The verse reflects righteous indignation rooted in kinship and justice: grief and anger arise when dharma is violated through wrongful killing.
Hanuman introduces Sampati and explains that Sampati reacted strongly upon hearing of his brother’s death.
Familial loyalty and a sense of justice—Sampati’s response shows protective concern for his brother’s fate.
