ततो निहत्य तरसा रामो वालिनमाहवे।सर्वर्क्षहरिसङ्घानां सुग्रीवमकरोत्पतिम्।।।।

tato nihatya tarasā rāmo vālinam āhave | sarvarkṣaharisaṅghānāṁ sugrīvam akarot patim ||

Translation

Então, tendo abatido Vāli com rapidez no combate, Rāma fez de Sugrīva o senhor de todas as hostes de macacos e ursos.
