हनूमत्सीतासंवादः
Hanumān–Sītā Dialogue and Identity Verification
सोऽवतीर्य द्रुमात्तस्माद्विद्रुमप्रतिमाननः।विनीतवेषः कृपणः प्रणिपत्योपसृत्य च।।।।तामब्रवीन्महातेजा हनूमान्मारुतात्मजः।शिरस्यञ्जलिमाधाय सीतां मधुरया गिरा।।।।
so ’vatīrya drumāt tasmād vidruma-pratimānanaḥ | vinīta-veṣaḥ kṛpaṇaḥ praṇipatya upasṛtya ca || tām abravīn mahātejā hanūmān mārutātmajaḥ | śirasy añjalim ādhāya sītāṃ madhurayā girā ||
Descendo daquela árvore, Hanumān—com o rosto radiante como coral—adiantou-se em traje humilde. Com atitude suplicante e respeitosa, prostrou-se e aproximou-se; o herói de grande esplendor, filho do Vento, pondo as mãos postas sobre a cabeça, falou a Sītā com palavras suaves.
