Sītā’s Perplexity and Recognition of Hanumān
मनोरथस्स्यादिति चिन्तयामि तथापि बुद्ध्या च वितर्कयामि।किं कारणं तस्य हि नास्ति रूपं सुव्यक्तरूपश्च वदत्ययं माम्।।।।
manorathaḥ syād iti cintayāmi tathāpi buddhyā ca vitarkayāmi |
kiṁ kāraṇaṁ tasya hi nāsti rūpaṁ suvyaktarūpaś ca vadaty ayaṁ mām ||
Penso: «Talvez seja apenas um anseio da mente». Contudo, pondero com o entendimento: qual é a causa? Pois esse anseio não tem forma, ao passo que este, de forma bem manifesta, fala comigo.
