त्रिजटास्वप्नवर्णनम्

Trijata’s Dream-Omens and the Rakshasis’ Reversal

कथयस्व त्वया दृष्टः स्वप्नोऽयं कीदृशो निशि।तासां श्रुत्वा तु वचनं राक्षसीनां मुखाच्युतम्।।5.27.8।।उवच वचनं काले त्रिजटा स्वप्नसंश्रितम्।

kathayasva tvayā dṛṣṭaḥ svapno 'yaṁ kīdṛśo niśi | tāsāṁ śrutvā tu vacanaṁ rākṣasīnāṁ mukhācyutam || 5.27.8 ||

uvāca vacanaṁ kāle trijaṭā svapna-saṁśritam |

«Conta-nos: que tipo de sonho viste à noite?» Ouvindo as palavras que caíram da boca das rākṣasīs, Trijaṭā então falou, no tempo oportuno, palavras apoiadas naquele sonho.
