सप्तचत्वारिंशः सर्गः — वानरयूथपानां अन्वेषणवृत्तान्तनिवेदनम्

तदहः प्रथमं कृत्वा मासे प्रश्रवणं गताः।कपिराजेन सङ्गम्य निराशाः कपियूधपाः।।4.47.6।।
tad ahaḥ prathamaṁ kṛtvā māse praśravaṇaṁ gatāḥ |
kapirājena saṅgamya nirāśāḥ kapiyūdhapāḥ || 4.47.6 ||
Depois de transcorrido o primeiro dia e de assim prosseguirem por um mês, os chefes das tropas de macacos foram a Prasravaṇa; e, ao encontrarem o rei dos kapi, ficaram sem esperança, pois não acharam sinal de Sītā.
