तारोपदेशः — Tara’s Counsel to Lakshmana
Restraint, Time, and Mobilization
देहधर्मं गतस्यास्य परिश्रान्तस्य लक्ष्मण।अवितृप्तस्य कामेषु कामं क्षन्तुमिहार्हसि।।।।
deha-dharmaṃ gatasya asya pariśrāntasya lakṣmaṇa | avitṛptasya kāmeṣu kāmaṃ kṣantum ihārhasi ||
Ó Lakṣmaṇa, como ele está exausto e entregue às inclinações do corpo, ainda insaciado nos prazeres, convém que por ora perdoes essa indulgência.
'O Lakshmana! you should pardon him since he is not yet satisfied, though tired, with the struggle for the fulfilment of his sensual pleasures.
