Tārā’s Lament over Vāli
उद्ववर्ह शरं नीलस्तस्य गात्रगतं तदा।गिरिगह्वरसंलीनं दीप्तमाशीविषं यथा।।
udvavarha śaraṁ nīlas tasya gātragataṁ tadā | girigahvarasaṁlīnaṁ dīptam āśīviṣaṁ yathā ||
Então Nīla, com esforço, arrancou a flecha cravada no seu corpo, como quem puxa uma serpente ardente escondida numa gruta da montanha.
