Tendo dito isso, Sugrīva—fitando Rāma, de olhos avermelhados—meditou por um momento no príncipe da linhagem de Kakutstha e então falou novamente.
Having said this and thinking for a moment, Sugriva again said to the heroic Rama whose eyes had turned red.
Dharma includes self-restraint and reflection before major action: the pause suggests deliberation, not haste, in matters involving justice and violence.
A brief narrative interlude: Sugriva observes Rama’s intense reaction, thinks, and resumes his speech.
Deliberation and emotional discipline: the scene highlights the gravity of the decision and the need to proceed thoughtfully.
