तीर-वर्णनम् / Rama’s Lament at Pampa and the Approach to Rishyamuka
मामप्येवं विशालाक्षी जानकी जातसम्भ्रमा।मदनेनाभिवर्तेत यदि नाऽपहृता भवेत्।।।।
mām apy evaṃ viśālākṣī jānakī jāta-sambhramā | madanena abhivarteta yadi nāpahṛtā bhavet ||
Se Jānakī, de olhos vastos, não tivesse sido raptada, também ela—movida pelo amor—teria vindo para perto de mim deste mesmo modo.
'Had the large-eyed Janaki not been stolen, she would have also paid advances to me in this manner with all her love and excitement.
