Ó Rāma, foi por causa da minha observância sagrada que a deixei e vim para cá. Tendo alcançado Siddhāśrama, cumpri meu intento por teu esplendor e bravura.
O mighty-armed Rama! since you asked me I narrated this, my origin, the history of my family and the history of this place.
Dharma here is niyama and tapas—discipline in spiritual observance—supported by righteous protection, where Rāma’s tejas enables the sage’s vow to succeed.
Viśvāmitra tells Rāma that he came to Siddhāśrama for religious discipline and that Rāma’s valor has ensured the success of his purpose.
Rāma’s protective prowess aligned with dharma (righteous strength used to uphold ascetic practice).
