गोदावरीतटे सीतान्वेषणम्

शरावरौ शरैः पूर्णौ विध्वस्तौ पश्य लक्ष्मण।प्रतोदाभीशुहस्तो वै कस्यायं सारथिर्हतः।।।।
śarāvarau śaraiḥ pūrṇau vidhvastau paśya lakṣmaṇa | pratodābhīśuhasto vai kasyāyaṃ sārathir hataḥ ||
Vê, Lakṣmaṇa: duas aljavas cheias de flechas jazem destruídas. E aqui está um cocheiro morto, ainda agarrado ao chicote e às rédeas. De quem eram estes homens?
