सीताहरण
विलापः / The Lament at Jatāyu and the Abduction of Sītā
उत्तमाङ्गाच्च्युता तस्याः पुष्पवृष्टिस्समन्ततः।सीताया ह्रिममाणायाः पपात धरणीतले।।।।
uttamāṅgāc cyutā tasyāḥ puṣpavṛṣṭiḥ samantataḥ |
sītāyā hriyamāṇāyāḥ papāta dharaṇītale ||
Enquanto Sītā era levada, a chuva de flores caída de sua cabeça espalhou-se por todos os lados e caiu sobre a superfície da terra, enquanto ela, envergonhada, se retraía.
As Sita was being carried away, the shower of flowers dropped from her head and scattered on the earth.
