अनुबन्धमजानन्तः कर्मणामविचक्षणाः।।।।शीघ्रमेव विनश्यन्ति यथा त्वं विनशिष्यसि।
anubandham ajānantaḥ karmaṇām avicakṣaṇāḥ | śīghram eva vinaśyanti yathā tvaṃ vinaśiṣyasi ||
Os insensatos, que não conhecem as consequências que seguem aos seus atos, perecem depressa; assim também tu perecerás.
Fools who do not know the consequences of their action perish soon. Similarly you are going to die soon.
Dharma includes foresight: one must weigh karmic consequences (anubandha). Ignoring moral causality leads swiftly to ruin.
Jaṭāyu warns Rāvaṇa that his wrongful deed will rapidly bring destruction upon him.
