Reunidos, aqueles de obras piedosas disseram entre si: «Haja bem-estar para as vacas e para os brāhmaṇas, e para os mundos dos seres aqui congregados.»
Holy men assembled and uttered benedictions, saying, 'let there be well-being for the cows and brahmins associated with men of pious deeds in all the (three) worlds.
Dharma is expressed as protection and welfare of foundational supports of society—cows (sustenance) and brāhmaṇas (learning, ritual, moral guidance).
As the battle is about to begin, the assembled seers exchange auspicious benedictions for the welfare of the world.
The seers’ virtue is loka-hita (concern for universal welfare), prioritizing peace and auspiciousness even amid impending violence.
