Dharma here is reverence and disciplined speech: even a powerful kṣatriya upholds truth and righteousness through humility, respectful bodily conduct (añjali), and courteous words toward spiritual elders.
After being praised/addressed by a forest sage, Rāma prepares to respond, showing ritual respect and speaking politely.
Vinaya (humility) and maryādā (propriety): Rāma’s strength is paired with self-control and respect for ascetics.
