Rules of Edible and Inedible Foods

श्वाघ्रातं च पुनः सिद्धं चंडालावेक्षितं तथा । उदक्यया च पतितैर्गवा संघ्रातमेव च

śvāghrātaṃ ca punaḥ siddhaṃ caṃḍālāvekṣitaṃ tathā | udakyayā ca patitairgavā saṃghrātameva ca

O alimento é tido também por impuro se foi cheirado por um cão; do mesmo modo se foi cozido novamente após ter sido deixado como sobra, se foi olhado por um caṇḍāla; e ainda se foi tocado por uma mulher menstruada, por pessoas caídas (patita), ou mesmo se foi cheirado por uma vaca.
