FAQs

It refers to a formal re-establishment or re-installation—most naturally understood in a Vedic-ritual sense as restoring sacred fires or the proper continuity of prescribed rites for the sages.

It indicates that the procedure followed was one 'seen' or revealed by the gods—i.e., a divinely sanctioned ritual method rather than an arbitrary human invention.

It emphasizes fidelity to dharma through correct procedure (vidhivat) and the restoration of sacred order—suggesting that renewal and repair of religious practice should be done reverently and according to authoritative guidance.
