Pilgrimage Merits and Prayāga Supremacy

वरदासंगमं स्नात्वा गोसहस्रफलं लभेत् । ब्रह्मस्थूणां समासाद्य त्रिरात्रोपोषितो नरः

varadāsaṃgamaṃ snātvā gosahasraphalaṃ labhet | brahmasthūṇāṃ samāsādya trirātropoṣito naraḥ

Ao banhar-se na sagrada confluência chamada Varadā-saṅgama, obtém-se o mérito equivalente ao dom de mil vacas. E o homem que, aproximando-se da Brahma-sthūṇā, observa jejum por três noites, alcança grande mérito religioso.
