देव उवाच । न ज्ञायसे महादेवि अयं क्रोधेन चेष्टितः । दर्शयामि यथातथ्यं प्रियं ते च करोम्यहम्
deva uvāca | na jñāyase mahādevi ayaṃ krodhena ceṣṭitaḥ | darśayāmi yathātathyaṃ priyaṃ te ca karomyaham
O Senhor disse: «Ó Mahādevī, tu não compreendes: isto foi feito sob o impulso da ira. Eu te mostrarei a verdade tal como é, e também farei o que te é querido».
