ततः कैलासशिखरे देवदेवं महेश्वरम् । प्रणम्य शिरसा भूमौ स्कंदो वचनमब्रवीत्

tataḥ kailāsaśikhare devadevaṃ maheśvaram | praṇamya śirasā bhūmau skaṃdo vacanamabravīt

Então, no cume de Kailāsa, Skanda prostrou-se diante de Maheśvara—o Deus dos deuses—tocando a terra com a cabeça, e disse estas palavras.
