Narrator (contextual; not explicitly marked in the given single verse)

Concept: Sevā to Hari is the proper, continuous dharma; orderly support (front/middle/rear) symbolizes total-life devotion—protecting, sustaining, and following the Lord’s will.

Application: Organize your day around service: begin with intention (front), maintain steadiness (middle), and end with gratitude/reflection (rear). Make devotion practical through disciplined support roles.

Primary Rasa: shanta

Secondary Rasa: vira

Type: netherworld

FAQs

It highlights orderly protection/support (soldiers positioned front–middle–rear) alongside the devotional ideal that even the devas engage in proper service (seva) to Hari.

By stating that the gods themselves 'serve Hari' in a fitting way, it reinforces seva as a valued expression of devotion and reverence toward Viṣṇu.

Service should be performed appropriately—aligned with duty, humility, and proper conduct—rather than casually or for display.
