FAQs

She is the Great Goddess, praised here as the universal Mother and characterized by intimate divine proximity—“one who dwells in Śrī Kṛṣṇa’s heart”—a devotional (bhakti) way of expressing her supreme sanctity and closeness to the Lord.

Because her presence is portrayed as beneficial to the moral and spiritual order (dharma) and as auspicious “for all living beings,” implying protection, uplift, and harmonizing righteousness in the world.

It links righteousness (dharma) with devotion (bhakti): the highest sanctity is shown through a heart-centered relationship with Śrī Kṛṣṇa, and such divine alignment is presented as a source of welfare for all creatures.
